Kodak i800 Scanners Field Integration Services: Host PC to Scanner Connectivity

• Installation of either an Adaptec 29160 SCSI Card or a Kofax 650i Adrenaline Card into an available slot of the mother board of the host PC
• Installation of the corresponding SCSI Cable for either of the selected connection cards listed above
• Installation on the host PC of necessary software drivers for either of the above two connection cards
• Installation of the Kodak Scanner Validation Tool, if it is not already installed
• Testing and certifying the connectivity of the scanner to the host PC via the Kodak Scanner Validation Tool only
• This integration package does include a one hour scanner hardware orientation for the prospective scanner operators
• This integration package DOES NOT include the installation of ANY capture software on the host PC NOR the testing of the interface of such software to the i800 target scanner from the host PC
• On-site Time: This package is a flat fee package. NOTE: If on-site time exceeds 8 hours and it is due to anything other than the connectivity pieces listed above, then the additional hours will be charged at $150 per hour in increments of one hour and any partial hour used. If connectivity is not established due to an issue with one of the connectivity pieces listed above and a return trip is necessary, there is no additional charge for the time of the Field integrator. However, the additional travel and living will be billed.
• Pre-requisites:
  1. Administration Privileges for the local host PC are known to the Field Integrator
  2. Selected connection card and cable are on-site and available to the Field Integrator
  3. Host PC has an interface to the Internet for the downloading of software drivers from manufacturer web sites if necessary. Or the availability of such connection from another PC is accessible for the Field Integrator or assisting on-site support personnel.
  4. Any and all passwords for the effective operation of the integration are known to the Field Integrator
  5. The target i800 scanner is located within 3 feet of the host PC
  6. The site's electrical connection has been approved for the i800 scanner.
  7. The target i800 scanner has been installed and operations certified by a Kodak Field Engineer
• The package price does not include travel and living expenses. These expenses are added to the invoice.

PURCHASE ORDERS ACCEPTED ONLY FROM: USA Government Entities (Federal, Military, State, County, City), Hospitals, Large Medical Clinics (five or more doctors), All Public Schools and ALL Public or Private Colleges. However, a written Purchase Order MUST BE FAXED TO: 1-972-220-0453 BEFORE the order can be processed. If your organization is sales tax exempt, please fax your qualifying document with the Purchase Order. All other Purchase Orders Submitted from Entities NOT mentioned above will NOT be processed.

WSC will prosecute ANY fraudulent purchase and ANY non-payment of an order. All Attorney and or collection fees incurred pursuing recovery of ANY payment due WSC will also be owed and recovered from the customer.

SHIPPING NOTE FOR THIS WEEK: UPS will NOT be picking up GROUND packages on the 31st and since the warehoue is CLOSED on Friday, Jan 2nd, NO SHIPMENTS ARE GOING OUT UNTIL Monday, Jan 5th.
Options are: (1) Change the Ship Via to UPS 1, 2 or 3 Day at customer's expense (2) Leave the shipment as Ground and it'll be shipped on Monday Jan. 5th.

NOTE: SHIPPING TO APO Addresses for Military paying on-line with a credit card
WSC will ship to an APO address. Your shipping WILL NOT CALCULATE correctly for an APO address on-line. If your order is OVER $450 then Ground/Surface shipping will record as free. However, understand that this is not correct. APO shipping charges will be whatever the US Postal Service charges to ship your order to your APO address. Our system can not calculate that since it is tied to UPS. ANY SCANNER shipped outside the USA the manufacturer will void its warranty. Some customers do not care. They look at the exchange rate of the US dollar to their currency + shipping costs + securing a service contract within their country = a good deal for them. Other customers do not will not order for this reason. ALL INCOMING DUTIES, CUSTOM FEES, TAXES, ETC IS PAID BY THE CUSTOMER AT TIME OF DELIVERY WITHIN YOUR COUNTRY OR WHATEVER THE LOCAL POLICY/LAWS APPLY.
