What is the difference between the fi-6770 and the fi-6770A?

• fi-6770 only Kofax VRS 4.2 Professional software bundled. VRS PROCESSING = THROUGH SOFTWARE ONLY.
• fi-6770A DOES HAVE HARDWARE VRS PROCESSING BUILT INTO THE SCANNER! This means that ALL of the ENHANCED image processing takes place on the on-board Kofax VRS 4.2 Professional with barcode processing board built into the fi-6770A scanner model. This on-board processing offers a significant increase in speeding the image file process time since it is not using the connected PC's CPU processor to accomplish the image enhancements.
